About us
Our team
get2gether is powered by our Ambassadors, Peer Mentors, our Steering Group, the office team and our Board.
Our Ambassadors
Our Ambassadors are people with lived experience of disability who work alongside the office team, peer mentors and members in a range of ways. They organise and host online and in person events, represent get2gether at external events, facilitate meetings and trainings, work as peer mentors on our courses, and participate in outreach work such as writing papers and delivering presentations.

Our Steering Group
When get2gether was born in 2013, Steering Group was born! The Steering Group meets every 6–8 weeks and is hybrid — meaning you can attend both at Thistle Foundation and online on Zoom.
Steering Group is an important place where members can bring anything that matters to them. All the time members have spent organizing, attending, volunteering, and advocating for what you wish to see from get2gether has resulted in amazing years of love and friendship.
Will we see you there? Email office@get2gether.org.uk to find out when the next meeting is!

I make sure that the staff have everything they need to make get2gether as successful as they can be.
